Salary Range: $63,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and profitability.
• Develop and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Manage inventory valuation, including work-in-process and finished goods.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and variance analysis for management.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting related to production costs.
• Participate in month-end close activities for inventory and cost of goods sold.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, cost accounting principles, and inventory valuation methods.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze production costs, variances, and profitability.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365)
• Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
• Advanced data analysis skills, including SQL or business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
