EHS Manager | Holland, MI

Salary Range: $81,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company standards.
• Conduct EHS risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
• Manage and deliver EHS training programs for all employees.
• Oversee hazardous waste management, air emissions, and water discharge permits and compliance.
• Lead EHS audits, inspections, and corrective action implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance and foster a proactive safety culture.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related scientific/technical field
• 7-10 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a management role
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations
• Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and managing EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
• Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) preferred

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience managing EHS in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Professional certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM).
• Proficiency with advanced EHS management software and data analytics platforms.
