Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and validate CMM inspection programs from 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
- Interpret complex engineering blueprints, GD&T specifications, and quality standards for measurement planning.
- Perform first-article inspection (FAI), in-process, and final product inspections using CMM.
- Analyze inspection data, generate comprehensive reports, and communicate results to quality, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
- Troubleshoot CMM program errors, measurement discrepancies, and equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to optimize measurement processes and resolve quality issues.
- Maintain CMM equipment, fixtures, and probes, ensuring proper calibration and operational readiness.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso).
- Strong understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints and specifications.
- Experience with CAD software for model import and feature extraction.
- Knowledge of metrology principles and measurement techniques.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) for model manipulation and fixture design.
- Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with metrology lab management, equipment calibration, or gauge R&R studies.
- Ability to design and/or fabricate custom CMM holding fixtures.
