Salary Range: $48,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery (mills, lathes, etc.) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code programs.
• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to ensure part quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and adherence to specifications using precision measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines and work area.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine alarms or production issues.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished components from machines.

Recommended Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges).
• Ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machinery, including tooling and offsets.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, material properties, and quality control processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM)
• Experience performing preventative maintenance or basic machine troubleshooting
• Familiarity with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators)
• Welding or general fabrication experience
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives
