Salary Range: $48,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Charlotte seeking Bookkeepers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries and reconciling various accounts.
• Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings.
• Prepare basic financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
• Track and reconcile inventory-related transactions and costs specific to manufacturing.
• Monitor and record fixed asset additions, disposals, and depreciation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Experience with inventory valuation, cost of goods sold (COGS), and work-in-progress (WIP) accounting principles.
• Demonstrated ability to use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of financial statement preparation and account reconciliation.
• Knowledge of sales tax regulations and compliance relevant to a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics) specific to manufacturing modules
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory valuation methods
• Familiarity with fixed asset management and depreciation schedules for manufacturing equipment
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting
