Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Lead cost accounting functions, including standard costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Direct the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing strategic financial insights.
• Establish and enforce robust internal controls to protect company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis of manufacturing operations, product profitability, and capital expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, statutory reporting requirements, and company policies.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional development and high performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive financial management experience, with a significant portion in manufacturing.
• Deep expertise in cost accounting, inventory valuation, budgeting, and financial reporting specific to manufacturing operations.
• Proven proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
• Comprehensive understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial compliance for a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with advanced planning and budgeting software (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion, Adaptive Insights).
• Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and their integration with ERP.
