Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Cadillac that are seeking skilled Facilities Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all preventative and corrective maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment, building systems, and infrastructure.
• Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and building regulations (OSHA, EPA, local codes).
• Develop and manage the facilities budget, controlling operational costs and capital expenditures.
• Manage vendor relationships for outsourced services, repairs, and supply agreements.
• Lead and execute facility-related projects, including expansions, renovations, and equipment installations.
• Implement and monitor energy management programs to optimize utility consumption and reduce operational costs.
• Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans and procedures for the manufacturing plant.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of facilities management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven expertise in managing building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, utilities) and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, OSHA compliance, and manufacturing safety standards.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, vendor negotiation, and budget administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience managing facilities in an FDA-regulated or similar highly-regulated manufacturing environment.
