Salary Range: $55,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of fabricators, assigning daily tasks and managing workflow.
• Ensure all fabricated components meet quality standards, specifications, and production deadlines.
• Plan and optimize fabrication processes for efficiency and material utilization.
• Monitor and maintain fabrication equipment, coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and best practices within the fabrication area.
• Train and mentor new and existing team members on fabrication techniques and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex fabrication issues to minimize downtime and scrap.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in metal fabrication, welding, and assembly processes.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Proficiency with various fabrication equipment (e.g., welders, saws, presses, CNC machinery).

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software for fabrication.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
• Advanced welding certifications (e.g., CWI, specific material expertise).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems for production planning.
