Salary Range: $51,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and calibrate manufacturing equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service on machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Execute timely repairs and replace faulty components to restore equipment functionality.
• Provide technical support and training to customer personnel on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
• Document all service activities, repairs, and parts used accurately and completely.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during fieldwork.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including PLC diagnostics.
• Minimum 3-5 years of field service experience with industrial machinery, preferably in manufacturing.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills for effective client interaction.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively (e.g., up to 75%) to customer sites.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming or advanced HMI configuration.
• Certifications in specialized areas such as robotics, automation, or specific vendor equipment.
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly for international travel or diverse client bases.
• Demonstrated ability to train customers or junior technicians on equipment operation and maintenance.
