Salary Range: $45,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine calibrations on manufacturing equipment and instrumentation.
  • Maintain accurate calibration records, certificates, and documentation in accordance with quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning instruments and calibration equipment.
  • Develop, review, and revise calibration procedures and work instructions.
  • Manage and update the calibration schedule and equipment recall system.
  • Ensure all calibration activities comply with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.
  • Select, use, and maintain appropriate calibration standards and test equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Metrology, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience/certifications.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience performing calibration, maintenance, and repair of test and measurement equipment.
  • Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and metrology concepts.
  • Familiarity with ISO 17025 standards, NIST traceability, and quality system requirements.
  • Proficient in using calibration software and meticulous in generating accurate documentation and calibration certificates.

Bonus Qualifications

  • ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certification
  • Experience working within ISO 17025 or GMP regulated environments
  • Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or dedicated calibration management software
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification
