Salary Range: $51,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

We are partnering with organizations in Grand Rapids that are seeking Calibration Technicians. Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise calibration of various measurement equipment and instrumentation.
- Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation in accordance with quality standards.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning test equipment and instruments.
- Develop, review, and update calibration procedures and work instructions.
- Manage and maintain the calibration recall system and schedule.
- Ensure all calibration activities comply with internal procedures and external regulatory requirements.
- Select, set up, and operate primary and secondary calibration standards.
Recommended Qualifications
- Experience performing calibrations on electrical, mechanical, dimensional, and process control instrumentation.
- Strong understanding of metrology principles, measurement uncertainty, and relevant calibration standards (e.g., ISO 17025).
- Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology, instrumentation) or equivalent military training/certification.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, adjusting, and performing minor repairs on precision measuring equipment.
- Excellent documentation skills and experience utilizing calibration management software.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with programming or scripting for automated test equipment (ATE) or calibration systems
- ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or other relevant industry certifications
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software for measurement uncertainty analysis or data trending
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
