Salary Range: $86,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities for new product introduction.
• Facilitate complex problem-solving initiatives using methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality control plans, inspection procedures, and statistical process controls (SPC).
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement projects to reduce defects and optimize processes.
• Conduct internal and supplier quality system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to integrate quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in advanced quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis).
• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, or demonstrated expertise in Lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong understanding and application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).

Bonus Qualifications

• Lead Auditor Certification (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100)
• Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., JMP, R, Python for data analysis)
• Experience with Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) or advanced reliability engineering principles
• Deep knowledge of a specific MES or ERP Quality Module (e.g., SAP QM)
