Salary Range: $87,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the application of advanced quality planning (APQP) and production part approval process (PPAP) for new product introductions.
• Drive complex root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions using 8D methodology and other advanced problem-solving tools.
• Develop, implement, and monitor statistical process control (SPC) systems and lead process capability studies.
• Conduct and support internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with relevant quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Facilitate and lead Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) sessions and develop robust control plans.
• Analyze quality data using statistical methods to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and validate effectiveness of actions.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to integrate quality requirements early in the product lifecycle.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D).
• Proven experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100) including internal or external auditing.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and advanced statistical methods.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) or Master Black Belt (CSSMBB) certification
• Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for complex data analysis
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for quality performance insights
• Prior experience in a highly regulated industry (e.g., medical device, aerospace, automotive) with specific quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485, AS9100, IATF 16949)
