Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support for manufacturing equipment and software applications.
• Analyze customer production requirements to recommend optimal system configurations and solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and deliver technical training to customers and internal teams.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues and implement effective solutions on manufacturing lines.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and R&D to define product enhancements and new application development.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including application notes and user manuals.
• Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and validation of manufacturing systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in an applications, technical support, or sales engineering role within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial equipment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency with relevant industry software (e.g., CAD/CAM, PLM, MES, PLC programming).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, VBA, C#) for customizing software applications or workflows.
• Familiarity with data analysis techniques, statistical process control (SPC), or machine learning concepts in a manufacturing context.
• Proficiency with advanced simulation software or process modeling tools beyond standard CAD/CAM/CAE.
• Previous experience in a niche manufacturing process such as additive manufacturing, advanced robotics, or specialized material processing.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver technical training or comprehensive documentation for end-users.
