Salary Range: $58,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Design, fabricate, and repair complex tooling, dies, jigs, and fixtures according to blueprints and specifications.
- Operate precision machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and EDM equipment to create and modify tooling components.
- Read and interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and CAD/CAM data.
- Perform precise measurements and quality control checks to ensure tooling meets tight tolerances and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with tooling and machinery, implementing effective repair solutions.
- Maintain and sharpen tooling to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize tooling design and manufacturing processes.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures in the workshop environment.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or in a similar manufacturing role.
- Proficiency in operating various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machinery.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and precision measurement techniques.
- Experience with tool steels, heat treatment processes, and material properties.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex tooling and die issues.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software for tool design and manufacturing is a plus.
Bonus Qualifications
- - Experience with CNC programming and operation for tool and die fabrication
- - Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for design and manufacturing processes
- - Knowledge of heat treatment processes for tool steels
- - Familiarity with EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) equipment
