Salary Range: $49,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Train and mentor shipping and receiving team members, providing guidance and support.
• Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule shipments and track deliveries.
• Ensure proper documentation, including bills of lading and packing slips, is completed accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely.
• Implement and improve shipping and receiving procedures to optimize workflow and reduce errors.

Recommended Qualifications

• - Proven experience in a shipping and receiving role within a manufacturing environment.
• - Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse organization.
• - Experience with shipping software and carrier systems (e.g., UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager).
• - Ability to lead and mentor a team of shipping and receiving personnel.
• - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• - Proficiency in operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP)
• - Forklift certification and experience operating various types of forklifts
• - Basic understanding of international shipping regulations and documentation
• - Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to identify shipping efficiencies
