Salary Range: $86,000 - $132,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop floor operations, ensuring efficient production flow and adherence to schedules.
• Manage and motivate a team of manufacturing personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a secure and compliant work environment.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with procurement and logistics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize quality.
• Maintain equipment and machinery, scheduling preventative maintenance and addressing repair needs.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, quality control, and sales, to meet production goals.
• Ensure adherence to budget and cost control measures within the manufacturing department.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing shop floor environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent understanding of production processes and quality control.
• Proficient in inventory management and supply chain operations.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to interpret and implement technical drawings and specifications.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
