Salary Range: $70,000 - $104,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing shop floor.
• Supervise, train, and mentor shop employees, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure production schedules are met efficiently and safely.
• Maintain quality control standards and implement corrective actions for defects.
• Manage inventory of materials and supplies, and coordinate with procurement.
• Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and schedule maintenance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Experience with quality control procedures and continuous improvement methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• - Certification in a relevant trade (e.g., welding, machining, electrical)
• - Proficiency in a specific ERP or MES system used in manufacturing
