Salary Range: $67,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all manufacturing personnel, covering safety, quality, operational procedures, and equipment specific training.
  • Assess training needs through performance reviews, skill gap analysis, and feedback from production supervisors.
  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging training materials, including presentations, manuals, job aids, and e-learning modules.
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules and optimal attendance.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through post-training assessments, performance monitoring, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, completion status, and assessment results, for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Identify and onboard external training providers or subject matter experts when specialized knowledge is required.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies relevant to manufacturing training.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
  • Ability to assess training needs, develop curricula, and evaluate training effectiveness.

Bonus Qualifications

  • - Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles and their application in training programs
  • - Proficiency in Learning Management System (LMS) administration and reporting
  • - Certification in adult learning principles (e.g., CPTD)
  • - Experience developing and delivering train-the-trainer programs
  • - Familiarity with e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate)
