Salary Range: $44,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

We are partnering with organizations in Ludington that are seeking Inspection Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured parts and assemblies.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure product compliance.
• Document inspection results accurately, including identifying and reporting non-conforming materials.
• Initiate and track non-conformance reports (NCRs) for defective products.
• Adhere strictly to quality control procedures, standards, and safety regulations.
• Maintain and verify the calibration status of inspection equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficiency in the use of precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
• Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects and non-conformances.
• Experience with quality control processes and documentation within a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in operating or programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) or vision systems.
• ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or similar certification.
• Familiarity with basic calibration procedures for inspection tools.
• Experience assisting with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
