Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to meet production demands and minimize carrying costs.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust inventory control systems and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee and execute regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and recommend strategies for improvement in inventory turns and reduction of excess/obsolete stock.
- Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehousing departments to ensure seamless material flow and align inventory strategies with operational goals.
- Monitor and report on key inventory performance indicators (KPIs) such as accuracy, turns, and service levels.
- Implement strategies to prevent inventory shrinkage, damage, and obsolescence.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience (3-5+ years) in inventory management or a similar supply chain role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for inventory planning and control.
- Strong understanding and practical application of inventory control methodologies (e.g., cycle counting, ABC analysis, JIT, FIFO).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive process improvements.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
Bonus Qualifications
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
- Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies applied to inventory processes.
- Familiarity with automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) or other warehouse automation technologies.
