Salary Range: $78,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
• Develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes for new products.
• Collaborate with R&D on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Specify, procure, and qualify manufacturing equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
• Perform process validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) to ensure production readiness.
• Train production personnel on new product assembly processes and quality requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for NPI processes and early production yields.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical).
• 3+ years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or manufacturing engineering within a production environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional NPI projects from concept to mass production.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and process optimization.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python) for data analysis or automation.
• Experience with advanced simulation tools for manufacturing processes (e.g., FEA, CFD).
• Direct experience in supplier development or qualification for new components.
