Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust press machinery according to production specifications and blueprints.
• Operate and monitor various types of presses (e.g., stamping, forming) to produce parts.
• Perform routine quality inspections of manufactured parts using measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions and production issues.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Load raw materials into machines and unload finished products.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and cleaning of press equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating industrial presses or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform machine setups and adjustments.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for production issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Forklift certification or experience operating industrial equipment
• Basic machine maintenance or repair experience
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives
• Proficiency with advanced precision measuring tools (e.g., CMM, optical comparator)
