Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll for all manufacturing employees, including hourly and salaried staff.
• Manage and reconcile timekeeping systems for hourly production employees, ensuring accurate hours, overtime, and shift differentials.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws, as well as company policies and collective bargaining agreements.
• Process payroll deductions, garnishments, benefits contributions, and tax withholdings accurately.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports for management, accounting, and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential payroll records, including employee master data, pay rates, and historical payroll information.
• Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience processing multi-state payroll, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, UKG) and HRIS.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations (FLSA, FMLA).
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strong data entry and reconciliation skills.
• Experience with complex payroll calculations, including shift differentials, overtime, and union deductions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with time & attendance systems common in manufacturing environments (e.g., Kronos, UKG, ADP Workforce Now T&A).
• Familiarity with payroll processing for unionized workforces or complex shift schedules.
• Understanding of labor cost allocation and reporting in a manufacturing context.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) as they relate to payroll data integration.
