Key Responsibilities

• Develop, program, and implement PLC logic for automated manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing PLC programs and HMI interfaces to resolve operational issues.
• Conduct rigorous testing, commissioning, and validation of new and modified control systems.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for PLC programs, electrical schematics, and control system architecture.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to define requirements and integrate control solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel on control system functionality.
• Ensure all programming adheres to industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming for major platforms (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens).
• Experience with HMI/SCADA system development and integration (e.g., FactoryTalk View, WinCC).
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, motor control, and instrumentation.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex automation issues in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotic programming (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB) or industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
• Proficiency in industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and basic IT/OT cybersecurity principles.
• Familiarity with database integration (e.g., SQL) and data historization systems.
• Ability to develop custom tools or integrate systems using high-level programming languages (e.g., Python, C#).
