Shipping & Receiving Clerk | Spring Lake, MI

Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Accurately document and log all incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain organized and clean warehouse storage areas.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely material flow.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with inventory management systems and software
• Proficient in basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (e.g., up to 50 lbs)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording information

Bonus Qualifications

• Forklift certification
• Experience with inventory management software
• Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles
• Familiarity with shipping carrier portals (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS)
