Salary Range: $59,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer Requests for Quote (RFQs), blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Calculate accurate costs for materials, labor, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
• Generate comprehensive and competitive pricing proposals for custom manufactured products.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure quote accuracy and feasibility.
• Utilize ERP/CRM systems to process quotes, track status, and manage customer data.
• Communicate effectively with customers and sales representatives regarding quote details and clarifications.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement within the quoting function.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in cost estimation and pricing strategies within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and material specifications.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and quoting software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and internal team interaction.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
• Proficiency in a second language relevant to international business
• Basic understanding of CAD software for reviewing technical drawings
