Salary Range: $53,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• - Prepare and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger postings.
• - Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• - Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and collections.
• - Participate in inventory valuation and cost accounting activities, including variance analysis.
• - Aid in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and audit schedules.
• - Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies and procedures.
• - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience with cost accounting, inventory valuation, and standard costing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with ERP systems common in manufacturing environments (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor).
• - Familiarity with cost accounting principles and standard costing methodologies.
• - Certification such as CPA or CMA.
• - Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, macros) for data analysis.
• - Experience with inventory valuation methods (e.g., FIFO, LIFO, weighted-average) in a manufacturing context.
