Salary Range: $53,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Perform general ledger entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Support inventory accounting functions, including cost tracking, valuation, and cycle counts.
• Aid in the development and maintenance of internal controls and accounting policies.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Participate in audits, both internal and external, by providing necessary documentation and support.
• Process payroll and related tax filings in accordance with company policies and regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks Enterprise) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
• Experience with inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with lean manufacturing principles and their impact on financial reporting.
• - Familiarity with advanced Excel functions such as Power Query and Power Pivot for data analysis.
• - Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• - Certification in Cost Accounting (e.g., Certified Cost Accountant).
• - Exposure to inventory valuation methods like LIFO/FIFO and their application in a manufacturing context.
