Salary Range: $69,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain server infrastructure (physical and virtual) and network devices critical for production operations.
• Ensure high availability and optimal performance of manufacturing IT systems, including MES, SCADA, and ERP applications.
• Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect manufacturing data, intellectual property, and operational technology (OT) environments.
• Develop, test, and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery solutions for critical production systems and data.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues impacting the manufacturing floor.
• Monitor system health, performance, and security, proactively addressing potential issues to minimize production downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to integrate and support new manufacturing technologies and automation solutions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience administering Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Proficiency in managing virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V) and associated storage.
• Solid understanding of network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs) and network security principles.
• Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) environments, including SCADA, MES, or industrial control systems.
• Proven ability to implement and manage system backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues in a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) or Industrial Control Systems (ICS) environments.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP).
• Experience supporting shop floor IT equipment (e.g., ruggedized PCs, barcode scanners, label printers).
• Knowledge of IT/OT cybersecurity best practices in an industrial setting.
