Salary Range: $64,000 - $97,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Analyze production costs, variances, and profitability reports.
• Manage and reconcile inventory valuation, including work-in-progress and finished goods.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and budget vs. actual analysis for manufacturing operations.
• Identify and investigate cost-saving opportunities and production inefficiencies.
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing costs.
• Ensure accurate costing of new products and bills of material.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Experience with bill of materials (BOM) costing and overhead allocation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with ERP system implementation or advanced module configuration (e.g., SAP CO, Oracle Manufacturing Costing).
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles and their application to cost reduction.
• CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification.
