Salary Range: $49,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders).
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments to optimize production and quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, including tool wear and program errors.
• Load and unload materials and finished parts from machines.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges).
• Ability to perform tooling setups, offsets, and adjustments.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code for program editing and troubleshooting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience operating or programming CMMs or other advanced metrology equipment.
• Ability to perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience with multi-axis (4-axis or 5-axis) machining.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
