Salary Range: $75,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Monitor and analyze key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Lead and participate in internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IATF).
  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams on new product introduction (NPI) to ensure quality by design.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC.
  • Ensure products and processes comply with relevant industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D).
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective corrective actions.
  • ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CSSBB) preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
  • Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
  • Experience with specific industry quality management systems (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485)
