Salary Range: $83,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for material procurement, inventory control, and logistics.
• Oversee the planning and scheduling of materials to ensure continuous production and meet demand.
• Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution.
• Optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring material availability and preventing stockouts.
• Lead and mentor the materials management team, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies for all materials.
• Drive the effective utilization of ERP/MRP systems for material planning, tracking, and reporting.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management, supply chain, or purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced inventory management software.
• Expertise in inventory control, demand planning, forecasting, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Demonstrated ability in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a focus on cost reduction.

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Proficiency with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software
• Experience with international sourcing and logistics
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
