Salary Range: $43,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and configure production machinery and equipment for new manufacturing runs.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate tooling, dies, and fixtures according to specifications.
• Perform test runs and initial quality checks to ensure product conformity and machine performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic issues during setup.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Document setup procedures, parameters, and any modifications made for future reference.
• Collaborate with production operators and engineers to optimize machine performance and efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience (e.g., 2+ years) in machine setup, changeovers, and operation within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving production or equipment issues.
• Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming or industrial automation systems.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software for interpreting or modifying fixture designs.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
