Salary Range: $54,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, calibrate, and commission new robotic systems and automation equipment.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on industrial robots and associated peripheral equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues in robotic cells.
  • Program, teach, and optimize robot paths and sequences for manufacturing processes.
  • Repair or replace defective components, sensors, motors, and wiring in robotic systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve robot performance and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with industrial robot programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, KUKA).
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.
  • Strong understanding of PLC programming, HMI interfaces, motor controls, and sensor integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose complex issues, and execute repairs on robotic systems.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with industrial vision systems integration and troubleshooting.
  • Basic PLC programming knowledge for robot-integrated systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
  • Proficiency in CAD software for interpreting technical drawings or basic fixture design.
  • Advanced preventative maintenance planning and root cause analysis experience.
