Salary Range: $75,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective/preventive actions for quality issues.
  • Lead and participate in FMEA, PPAP, and other APQP activities for new products.
  • Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing quality discrepancies.
  • Manage supplier quality performance through audits, qualification, and non-conformance resolution.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, MSA, Root Cause Analysis).
  • Strong understanding and practical application of ISO 9001 or relevant industry quality standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Proficiency with statistical software packages (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Experience with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for quality data management.
  • Certified Lead Auditor (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485).
