Salary Range: $65,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of quality inspectors and technicians.
• Develop, implement, and enforce quality control procedures and standards.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to identify and resolve quality deviations.
• Lead root cause analysis for non-conformances and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Oversee all inspection activities, including incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
• Manage and maintain quality management system documentation and records.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to implement quality improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding and practical application of ISO 9001 (or relevant industry standards like IATF 16949, AS9100) and quality management systems.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D, and Lean/Six Sigma principles.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a quality team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Lead Auditor certification.
• Experience with specific industry regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, AS9100, IATF 16949).
