Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) on different materials (steel, aluminum).
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine layout and welding procedures.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality, adherence to specifications, and structural integrity.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Cut, grind, and prepare metal components for welding, ensuring precise fit-up.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control standards.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to design requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in common welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Demonstrated experience with various welding equipment and tools.
• Strong understanding and adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
• AWS certification or equivalent professional welding certification.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks and work in various positions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with diverse welding processes (e.g., TIG, MIG, FCAW)
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and basic fabrication tasks (cutting, fitting, grinding)
• Experience welding specialized materials such as stainless steel or aluminum
• AWS D1.1, D1.6, or other advanced welding certifications
