Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Process accurate and timely weekly or bi-weekly payroll for all manufacturing employees.
- Manage and verify employee timecards, attendance records, and shift differentials, collaborating with production supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and company policies.
- Administer payroll deductions for benefits, garnishments, and other voluntary and involuntary items.
- Prepare and submit required payroll tax filings (e.g., 941s, W-2s) and internal payroll reports.
- Reconcile payroll data with general ledger accounts and bank statements.
- Process new hires, terminations, and employee changes within the payroll system.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience processing multi-state payroll, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with major payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and time & attendance systems.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations, including FLSA, wage and hour laws, and tax compliance.
- Experience handling complex payroll scenarios such as shift differentials, overtime calculations, and union dues.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience; FPC or CPP certification is a plus.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with time and attendance systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., Kronos, ADP Workforce Now Time).
- Familiarity with calculating shift differentials, production bonuses, or piece-rate pay structures.
- Understanding of payroll implications for unionized workforces or collective bargaining agreements.
- Experience with payroll processing within a large ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) common in manufacturing environments.
