Key Responsibilities

• Develop, program, and debug PLC logic and HMI applications for automated manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical and controls issues on production lines to minimize downtime.
• Perform commissioning, testing, and startup of new machinery and control systems.
• Create and maintain detailed electrical schematics, PLC programs, and HMI documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to implement control solutions and system upgrades.
• Ensure all programming adheres to industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines.
• Optimize existing PLC programs for improved efficiency, reliability, and throughput.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLCs (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA systems.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet) and electrical control systems.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex automation system issues, including hardware and software.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial robotics programming (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB).
• Proficiency in HMI/SCADA development and integration.
• Familiarity with database integration (e.g., SQL) for data logging and MES.
• Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) for PLC code management.
