Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Process accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees, including overtime, shift differentials, and production bonuses.
- Manage and reconcile timekeeping system data, ensuring accurate recording of employee hours, attendance, and leave.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws, FLSA regulations, and company policies.
- Administer and process all payroll deductions, including benefits, 401(k), and garnishments.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related tax filings (e.g., 941s, state unemployment) and year-end W-2s.
- Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and timekeeping.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3-5 years of direct payroll processing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with major payroll software (e.g., ADP, UKG, Workday) and integrated timekeeping systems.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws, FLSA, and wage & hour regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex payroll calculations, including hourly wages, shift differentials, overtime, and incentive pay.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strong analytical skills.
Bonus Qualifications
- Understanding of manufacturing-specific pay rules (e.g., shift differentials, production bonuses, piece-rate).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) for timekeeping integration.
- Familiarity with multi-state payroll regulations and/or union collective bargaining agreements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis and reporting.
