Salary Range: $82,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality standards and procedures.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Monitor and analyze supplier performance data, identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Review and approve incoming supplier materials and components for quality.
• Manage supplier qualification and onboarding processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) processes to ensure supplier readiness.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality assurance, auditing, and qualification processes within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and relevant industry standards.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective supplier relationship management.
• Experience with supplier performance monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with AS9100 or ISO 13485 quality management systems
• - Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)
• - Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and tools
• - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software
