Salary Range: $84,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality assurance programs and procedures.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Review and approve supplier documentation, including PPAPs, FMEAs, and control plans.
• Manage incoming material inspection and testing processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
• Facilitate supplier development programs and training.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar) or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management, including auditing, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and statistical process control (SPC).
• Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective supplier collaboration.
• Experience with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning).

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software.
• - Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles.
• - Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).
• - Experience with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) methodologies.
• - Proficiency in a specific ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
