Salary Range: $76,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality assurance plans and procedures.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Review and approve supplier documentation, including PPAPs and FAIRs.
• Manage incoming material inspection and testing processes.
• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality.
• Support new product introduction by ensuring supplier readiness and capability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management, auditing, and qualification processes within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and relevant industry standards.
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis (RCA) techniques (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys), and problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience with supplier development activities, including performance monitoring, continuous improvement initiatives, and corrective action verification.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software and analysis.
• - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• - Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and certification (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt).
• - Experience with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
• - Understanding of metrology and calibration principles.
