Salary Range: $69,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all manufacturing personnel, covering safety, quality, equipment operation, and process improvement.
  • Assess training needs through performance reviews, skill gap analysis, and feedback from supervisors and employees.
  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging training materials, including presentations, manuals, job aids, and e-learning modules.
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
  • Track and report on training completion, effectiveness, and return on investment.
  • Maintain training records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with department managers and subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date.

Recommended Qualifications

  • - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Engineering, or a related field.
  • - Proven experience in developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • - Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • - Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training software.
  • - Ability to manage training budgets and resources effectively.

Bonus Qualifications

  • - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in training development.
  • - Proficiency in developing and delivering e-learning modules or virtual training programs.
  • - Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or similar production tracking software.
  • - Certification in a recognized adult learning methodology (e.g., Kirkpatrick, ADDIE).
  • - Experience in change management initiatives related to new manufacturing processes or technologies.
