Training Manager / Coordinator | Holt, MI

Salary Range: $65,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for production staff, supervisors, and management.
• Identify training needs through performance reviews, skill gap analyses, and operational feedback.
• Design and deliver training materials, including manuals, presentations, and hands-on exercises.
• Coordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback surveys, and performance monitoring.
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and relevant.
• Manage training budgets and resources effectively.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and various instructional design methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in learning management system (LMS) administration and other training software.
• Experience in needs assessment, curriculum development, and facilitator training.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in training
• - Certification in adult learning principles or instructional design
• - Proficiency in developing and delivering e-learning modules and virtual training sessions
• - Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES) or other shop floor technology relevant to training needs
