Salary Range: $43,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, components, and finished goods against specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure compliance.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
- Document inspection results accurately, including acceptance or rejection status.
- Identify, segregate, and tag non-conforming materials and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Maintain organized inspection records and ensure proper calibration of measuring equipment.
- Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, and quality teams on material quality issues and supplier feedback.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visual defects or non-conformances.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry, record keeping, and report generation.
- Understanding of quality control principles and non-conformance reporting procedures.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with CMM, vision systems, or other automated inspection software.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for quality data entry or inventory transactions.
- Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) concepts.
- Certification in a quality discipline (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Technician).
