Salary Range: $45,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed quality records.
- Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate containment actions.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify product compliance.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Adhere to established quality control procedures, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators).
- Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent analytical skills for identifying non-conformances.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry, report generation, and using inspection software.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or Associate's degree in a relevant field preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience operating and/or programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) or other automated inspection equipment.
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods and software for data analysis.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software for model interpretation and measurement verification.
- Certification in a quality standard (e.g., ASQ CQT) or Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
