Salary Range: $47,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Supervise and train shipping and receiving team members, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Manage inventory levels within the shipping and receiving areas, conducting regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and packaging of outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and products against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries and resolve any shipping discrepancies.
• Generate reports on shipping volumes, inventory status, and operational performance for management review.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing shipping and receiving operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems, including WMS or ERP software.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to ensure timely and accurate processing of goods.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Proficiency in operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and a commitment to safety protocols.
• Familiarity with shipping carrier requirements, documentation, and international shipping regulations (if applicable).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Certification in forklift operation or other relevant material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs documentation.
• Basic understanding of inventory management software beyond the core WMS.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to identify trends and optimize processes.
